For an inspiring in-person service as we welcome missionary Tamara Henkes to both of our campuses!
Tamara currently serves in Montenegro, a nation with very few evangelical churches. Her passion is to plant churches, train local leaders, and build next-generation ministries. She is dedicated to seeing lives transformed by Jesus and equipping believers to make disciples.
Before moving to Montenegro, Tamara served for seven years as the Early Childhood Children's Pastor at Portland Christian Center. For 13 years, she also co-directed Kidz Romania—a national ministry focusing on children's evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, summer camps, and women's outreach.
Come hear how God is moving in Montenegro and how we can support her vision!

As we mentioned above, at Astoria First Assembly and Calvary Assembly @ Warrenton, we are one church meeting on two campuses. As a Bible-based, evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church, we are committed to helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that every person matters deeply to God, and one of the ways we demonstrate our love for Him is by loving, serving, and caring for others. Our desire is to help every person who walks through our doors grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover God's purpose for their lives.
As a group of God’s people, we care about you and your family, and we’re here to not only feed you spiritually, but to help you in any way we can. We love doing it and that is why we exist.
God has a beautiful plan for your life. And He wants to be intimately involved in our lives. He wants us to know His voice and follow Him. In fact, He wanted to be with us so strongly that He sent His Son, a part of Himself, to physically walk the earth.

The Holy Spirit is always THE true Worship Leader. He’s leading us to glorify Jesus, revealing Jesus to our hearts, and performing miracles in our midst. When the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and the Hunger of His people collide, there’s no telling what could happen.
We aren’t simply gathering to worship – we’re worshipping the Father, our merciful God, our great Redeemer, etc.
Worship is about honoring and praising our Lord and Savior. It is a time when we gather together to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, and express our joy and gratitude. The power of God’s word touches those who are hurting and awakens hope for the hopeless.
Worship is anything you do that declares the worth of the Lord, which deepens your relationship with Jesus, and urges others to follow after him. That is to say, worship changes as our relationship with Jesus grows deeper.
When was the last time you went before the Lord, and just listened? Worship can be very active, with singing, fellowship, and public church services, but there comes a point where our worship must include being still, and meditating on God’s word.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
If you have children, we want to let you know that our Children's Ministries staff at Astoria First Assembly campus offers an amazing Kid's Church experience for your children downstairs in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday around 11:30 AM following worship.
We invite you to bring your child to church every Sunday to interact with other kids and learn from the word of God! We strive towards providing a safe, kid-friendly environment for children to grow closer to Jesus and His church.

🎥 This video series explores that Hearing God is not something you do. Hearing God is someone you are.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we naturally want to know how we can hear God's voice. Does God speak? Is He speaking to me? The good news is, yes, He is speaking. And, like a radio host broadcasting His voice into the airwaves, God speaks all the time. The question is, are we tuned into the right frequency?
In the Frequency video series, it reveals a groundbreaking, Bible-based teaching about hearing God's voice. God communicates with us in multiple ways, whether through the Bible, through circumstances, or even through a whisper. It also demonstrates how we can mature from hearing His voice as sheep to hearing it as His friend to even hearing it as a prophet.
