Astoria First Assembly of God/Calvary Assembly of God-Warrenton Church is a Bible-based, evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church. At Astoria First AG, we’re all about people. We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Astoria First AG grow in their relationship with the Lord.

The Holy Spirit is always THE true Worship Leader. He’s leading us to glorify Jesus, revealing Jesus to our hearts, and performing miracles in our midst. When the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and the Hunger of His people collide, there’s no telling what could happen.

We aren’t simply gathering to worship – we’re worshipping the Father, our merciful God, our great Redeemer, etc.

Worship is about honoring and praising our Lord and Savior. It is a time when we gather together to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, and express our joy and gratitude. The power of God’s word touches those who are hurting and awakens hope for the hopeless.

Worship is anything you do that declares the worth of the Lord, which deepens your relationship with Jesus, and urges others to follow after him. That is to say, worship changes as our relationship with Jesus grows deeper.

When was the last time you went before the Lord, and just listened? Worship can be very active, with singing, fellowship, and public church services, but there comes a point where our worship must include being still, and meditating on God’s word.

If you have children, we want to let you know that our Children's Ministries staff at Astoria First Assembly campus offers an amazing Kid's Church experience for your children downstairs in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday around 11:00 AM following worship.

We invite you to bring your child to church every Sunday to interact with other kids and learn from the word of God! We strive towards providing a safe, kid-friendly environment for children to grow closer to Jesus and His church.

Curriculum: “Root Causes” Video Series ~ Teacher/Facilitator: Julie Larson

Location: In the Fireside Chapel @ Calvary Assembly of God at our Warrenton Campus

This video series explores how "bitter roots"—often stemming from unforgiveness or a belief that God is withholding good—are the underlying causes of negative behaviors and circumstances in life, such as addiction, financial struggles, and broken relationships.

It provides biblical perspectives on overcoming personal struggles through addressing spiritual, rather than merely behavioral, causes. The blood of Jesus is presented as the way to cleanse the stains and remove these bitter roots.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

We invite you to join us on Wednesday evening, May 13, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, in the Fellowship Hall at our Astoria First Assembly of God church campus, for our Mid-Week Bible Study on the book of Matthew.

The book of Matthew focuses on Jesus as the prophesied Messiah and King, the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, and the authoritative teacher of the "Kingdom of Heaven". The key themes include his life, miracles, and teachings, such as the Sermon on the Mount, organized into five major discourses, culminating in his death, resurrection, and the Great Commission. The gospel emphasizes Jesus' divine authority and his call for followers to spread his message to all nations.

This will be a great opportunity for you to deepen your understanding of the Bible and connect with others in a supportive community.

SATURDAY EVENING WORSHIP & PRAYER GATHERING

We invite you all to join us as we gather for a night of worship & prayer this Saturday evening, May 16, 2026, from 6:30-7:30 pm, at our Worship & Prayer Night at our Astoria First Assembly of God Church campus.

As a church, one of our core values is connecting with God through prayer and worship. As a family of believers, we gather together to lift up needs in the church and around the world, believing God is going to move in mighty ways.

Please join us as we intercede for our community and nation. In these challenging times, let’s come together to lift our prayers to God for wisdom, peace, and unity. We hope you can be part of this powerful time of worship & intercession.
