We invite you to join us on Wednesday evening, May 4, 2022, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, at Astoria First Assembly of God church for our new Community Group Bible Study.

Everyone is welcome to attend. The Bible Study will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. However, you are welcome to come early at 6:30 PM, if you so desire, to have Coffee or Tea with those individuals who would like to join in with you for some fellowship.

Pastor Nick Buhler will be teaching on the Book of Revelation. Please join us this Wednesday, as he discusses Revelation, Chapter 2 - “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze." (Revelation 2:18 NIV)

Thyatira: Tolerating Jezebel - The Corrupt Church

Concerning Jezebel what do I need to know about God, Myself and Ministry?

Jesus is stronger, Jezebel has four affects on leadership, and only confrontation leads to a release of resources.

Thyatira choice – either you can be a Jezebel and try to rule and manipulate and gain control over the church of Jesus and tolerate heresy or stand up and confront apostasy and be given authority to disciple and shepherd nations.
