CURRENT MINISTRY
Tamara will be transitioning to Montenegro which will require her to first learn the language, learn the culture and build relationships. With very few evangelical churches and very few evangelical believers in Montenegro, the foundation of ministry will begin with what Scripture calls us to do and that is to follow Jesus and make disciples.
Tamara's heart and passion are to work with a team to plant churches throughout the country and train leaders to build up next generation ministries. Her heart is to see individuals follow Jesus, live a transformed life, and to grow as disciples who in turn make disciples. She wants to see the church grow in Montenegro, to see people equipped for ministry, and to see this next generation love and follow Jesus.
PREVIOUS MINISTRY
Tamara served on staff at Portland Christian Center for seven years as the early childhood children's pastor. Prior to that, she taught Sunday School and led early childhood ministries while also serving in the corporate world. For 13 years Tamara co-directed Kidz Romania ministry, a national ministry collaborating with Romanian churches throughout the country in the area of children's evangelism, discipleship, training, and equipping children's leaders, running summer camps and leading evangelistic outreaches for women.
