We would like to Welcome you to Astoria First Assembly of God church! We are beyond excited that you are here! We’ve got a place for you!!
It’s our great pleasure to invite you and your family to join us this Sunday Morning, April 17, 2022, at 10:30 AM, for our In-Person EASTER SERVICE at Astoria First Assembly of God church. Pastor Nick Buhler will be sharing a special Easter message.
What is Easter? Without a doubt one of the most important celebrations in the Christian calendar, Easter is a holiday that celebrates the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. After his crucifixion, death, and burial, three days later, he arose from the grave. In doing so, he conquered death and redeemed us from sin if we believe in Him.
The significance of Easter is Jesus Christ's triumph over death. His resurrection means the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The purpose of Easter also means the full confirmation of all that Jesus taught and preached during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had simply died and not been resurrected, He would have been thought just another teacher or prophet. However, His resurrection rebuked all that and provided final and undeniable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had overcome death once and for all.
We trust that you will make joining us at Church a part of your Easter plans. With a relevant message, engaging worship, and plenty of activities for the whole family, this Easter Sunday will be a celebration @ Astoria First Assembly which you don’t want to miss!
Pastor Steve Myall has returned from his trip. He will be back with us this Sunday and will be leading worship.
Whether you prefer traditional or contemporary worship, we invite you to celebrate the good news in Jesus Christ with us as you worship with us!
The Holy Spirit is always THE true Worship Leader.
Worship is about honoring and praising our Lord and Savior. It is a time when we gather together to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, and express our joy and gratitude. The power of God’s word touches those who are hurting and awakens hope for the hopeless.
Our Children's Ministries Department will be offering an amazing Kid's Church experience for your children in our kid-friendly Kid's Ministry Room.
We strive towards providing a safe, kid-friendly environment for children to grow closer to Jesus and His church.
We invite you to bring your child to church every Sunday to interact with other kids and learn from the word of God!
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
Please come and join us for church this EASTER Sunday! You won't want to miss this celebration service.
We hope to see you in church this weekend! Until then, Have a very Blessed Week!
