We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us on Independence Day--this Sunday, the 4th of July. This weekend we look back and celebrate our freedom as Americans!
Someone rightfully said one time that freedom isn't free. Those of us who have lived in America for any period of time recognize that truly this is the case. Men and women have given their lives over the years so that you and I can enjoy the freedom we know, as well as the freedom to be here today to worship God together.
It’s our great pleasure to invite you and your family to join us this Sunday, July 4, 2021, at 10:30 AM, for our Worship Service.
Pastor Nick Buhler will be sharing a message entitled, "God Bless America!" This is the week that not only do we pause and celebrate our freedom as a nation and the Independence and Liberty that we now enjoy, but we also take a look at the Liberty we enjoy as Americans, and, greater than that, we take a look at the Liberty that was made possible through the death of our Savior, Jesus Christ on the Cross.
We hope that you will make joining us at Church a part of your weekly plans. With a relevant message, engaging worship, and plenty of activities for the whole family, this Sunday will be a celebration @ Astoria First Assembly which you don’t want to miss!

Worship is anything you do that declares the worth of the Lord, which deepens your relationship with Jesus, and urges others to follow after him. That is to say, worship changes as our relationship with Jesus grows deeper.
When was the last time you went before the Lord, and just listened? Worship can be very active, with singing, fellowship, and public church services, but there comes a point where our worship must include being still, and meditating on God’s word.
Our Children's Ministries Director, Miss Lori Ann, and her staff will be offering an amazing Kid's Church experience for your children in our newly redecorated Kid's Ministry Room. We invite you to bring your child every Sunday to interact with other kids and learn from the word of God!
